# Filed.dev > Filed.dev is a REST API for US business entity data. One API covers state business registrations (LLCs, corporations, partnerships, nonprofits) from all 50 states plus DC, and enriches them with federal records: SEC EDGAR filings, Senate lobbying disclosures, USASpending.gov contracts, SAM.gov registrations, IRS 990 data and SBA PPP loans. Responses are normalized JSON with the same schema regardless of source state. Base URL: [https://filed.dev/api/v1](https://filed.dev/api/v1). Every endpoint needs an API key sent as `Authorization: Bearer fd_live_...`. Get a key at [https://filed.dev/register](https://filed.dev/register). Usage is metered in credits. Each plan has a monthly credit allowance, and every key is limited to 60 requests per minute. The complete endpoint reference (parameters, auth, credit costs, example requests and responses) is in one plain-markdown file: [llms-full.txt](https://filed.dev/llms-full.txt). ## API overview - [Developer portal](https://filed.dev/developers): API overview, plans and pricing, and how to get a key - [Documentation home](https://filed.dev/docs): what Filed is, the base URL and the main use cases (KYC, due diligence, lead generation, compliance) - [Quick start](https://filed.dev/docs/quick-start): get a key and make a first request - [Authentication](https://filed.dev/docs/authentication): Bearer token auth and the `fd_live_` / `fd_test_` key prefixes - [Credits](https://filed.dev/docs/credits): how credits are counted for each endpoint - [Rate limits](https://filed.dev/docs/rate-limits): monthly credit allowance per plan, the 60 requests/minute limit, and per-request limits - [Error codes](https://filed.dev/docs/errors): error JSON format, HTTP status codes and how to retry ## Endpoints - [GET /v1/search](https://filed.dev/docs/api/search): search state business entities by name, registered agent, officer or filing number, with filters for state, status and entity type - [GET /v1/entity/{id}](https://filed.dev/docs/api/entity): full record for one entity, with optional `include=` enrichment (federal, sam, nonprofit, ucc, ppp, related) - [POST /v1/batch](https://filed.dev/docs/api/batch): up to 25 search queries in one request (Business plan and above) - [GET /v1/sec/search](https://filed.dev/docs/api/sec): search SEC EDGAR filings by company name, CIK, SIC code, form type and date range - [GET /v1/lobbying/search](https://filed.dev/docs/api/lobbying): search Senate Lobbying Disclosure Act filings by client, registrant, issue code and year - [GET /v1/contracts/search](https://filed.dev/docs/api/contracts): search USASpending.gov federal contracts by recipient, agency, amount, NAICS/PSC code and date range ## Plans and pricing - [Pricing](https://filed.dev/developers#pricing): Developer $49/mo or $490/yr (1,000 credits/mo, 14-day trial), Business $199/mo or $1,990/yr (10,000 credits/mo), Scale $499/mo or $4,990/yr (50,000 credits/mo).
